INTERN - COMMODITIES - 1 POSITION
Internship Period: 1 year (non-renewable)

Reporting to the Deputy Director, Commodities, the selected candidate will be responsible for:


Liaising with the stakeholders to support value addition initiatives through policy and regulation formulation;
Undertaking on-desk studies and provide information to support research to inform formulation of policies and regulations to aid in development of the Commodities Markets, Virtual Assets Markets and Carbon Credit Markets in Kenya;
Supporting demand assessment initiatives in relation to products contracts to inform choice of contracts to be traded to inform prioritization;
Providing logistical support and reports writing to internal and external capacity building programs; and
Supporting initiatives on the development of draft relevant guidelines on design and development of contracts for Commodities Markets, Virtual Assets Markets and Carbon Credit Markets.


Minimum Qualifications and Experience


A Bachelor's degree in Business , Economics, Finance, Policy, Social Sciences, ICT, Records, Library, Knowledge Management, Legal or relevant degree from a recognized and accredited institution;
