Key Responsibilities


Inventory Tracking & Control: Monitor stock levels daily, conduct physical cycle counts, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Stock Planning & Forecasting: Analyze sales data to forecast future inventory requirements and ensure optimal stock levels.
Purchasing & Supplier Management: Manage purchase orders and foster relationships with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.
Warehouse Supervision: Oversee daily warehousing activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Process Improvement: Implement inventory systems, such as FIFO or LIFO, and improve turnover rates to reduce waste.


Common Performance Metrics (KPIs)


Inventory turnover ratio
Stock accuracy rate
Fill rate (order fulfillment efficiency)
Reduction of deadstock or wastage.


Required Skills and Qualifications


Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred.
Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), and Microsoft Excel.
Analytical Abilities: Strong math skills and attention to detail for forecasting and auditing.
Leadership: Experience leading teams, scheduling, and training staff.
