Job Summary
In this role, you will be the custodian of our inventory, responsible for the efficient management of materials and finished goods, ensuring accuracy in records, and maintaining optimal stock levels.
Key Responsibilities
Receipt of Materials:
Physically receive materials and office supplies, verifying them against delivery notes and purchase orders.
Intimate the Operations Manager immediately in case of any deviations in quantity or quality.
Issue Goods Received Notes and tag all materials.
Maintain accurate entry of receipts in bin cards and manual Excel logs for backup.
Issuance of Materials:
Issue materials to user departments based on approved requests.
Create and manage a list of minimum stock items to trigger timely replenishment.
Maintain manual Excel entries for all requested inventory.
Inventory Control:
Manage overall stock levels and prepare replenishment requisitions.
Update bin cards and conduct periodic stock-taking exercises.
Reconcile physical inventory with accounting records and generate reports.
Ensure the physical safety and protection of store supplies.
Monitor for and report obsolete stock, and take action to prevent overstocking or understocking.
Requirements
Proven experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or supply chain management.
Proficiency in Excel and strong documentation skills.
Ability to maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date records.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to stock management.
