About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory & Storekeeper to manage the hotel's inventory, stores, and stock control processes.
The successful candidate will ensure the efficient receipt, storage, issuance, and monitoring of all hotel supplies while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods and supplies.
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement reports.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of items.
Issue materials and supplies to departments in accordance with approved requisitions.
Conduct regular stock counts and periodic inventory audits.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of inventory items.
Track and report damaged, expired, or obsolete stock.
Reconcile physical inventory with inventory management records.
Collaborate with Procurement and Finance departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of all store areas.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
Requirements
Candidates should possess an OND/HND/Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Must have 2 - 3 years' experience in inventory management or storekeeping, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Strong numerical, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
