IT Officer (NYSC)

Role Overview

The successful candidate will provide first-line IT support and assist with the maintenance, monitoring, and efficient operation of the company's IT systems, computer hardware, software, IT and Digital infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical support to employees on computer hardware, software, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and approved software.
• Support the monitoring and troubleshooting of network connectivity and internet access.
• Assist with user account administration, access permissions, and routine IT system maintenance.
• Support data backup procedures and compliance with the company's IT security policies.
• Maintain an inventory of IT equipment, software, and related assets.
• Document reported IT issues, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT personnel.

Educational Qualification

• A Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Must be a serving NYSC Corps Member eligible for primary assignment.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
