Role:

We are looking for an IT Support Intern at Carbon, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day IT operations of the company. You will help users enhance their usage of IT services.


Responsibilities

  • Support users on-site and remotely across multiple time zones
  • Handle issues raised via the helpdesk in providing Level I support
  • Provide frequent training to users on maximizing IT resources available to them.
  • Carry out repair and maintenance of workstations hardware and software related issues
  • Manage and support Call center services
  • Maintain relationships with ISPs and other providers to ensure maximum service uptime and monitor SLA
  • Create hardware/software purchase requisitions and maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Support Cloud-based services
  • Manage Microsoft Windows servers, Desktop and Apple macOS
  • Manage networking and VPN services
  • Work extra hours to meet deadlines as required or where reasonable


Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in enterprise IT supports the role of 100 or more users.
  • Experience managing open source VoIP services like Asterisk, Elastix, 3CX
  • Experience working with Cisco, Mikrotik, and Ubiquity devices
  • Experience managing Linux and Windows servers in an enterprise environment
  • Experience managing MacOS in an enterprise environment
  • Bash or python scripting
  • Experience using, troubleshooting, and maintaining SaaS tools.


These qualifications will make you stand out among other applicants:

  • CCNA, CCNP, Red Hat, and Microsoft certifications
  • AWS Solutions Architect or GCP certifications
  • Experience working with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Great communications skills
