Job Summary


Afripoint Group Limited is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented IT Technical Sales Representative to drive business growth by identifying opportunities, promoting IT solutions, and closing sales deals with clients across various sectors.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of technology products/services alongside excellent sales and relationship management skills.


Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:


Identify and generate new business opportunities for the company's IT products and services
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals
Conduct market research and competitor analysis.


Client Engagement:


Understand customer business needs and recommend suitable IT solutions
Prepare and deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and proposals
Follow up on leads, inquiries, and ongoing negotiations
Provide excellent customer support before and after sales


Technical Support & Solution Selling:


Explain technical products/services clearly to clients
Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions
Assist clients in understanding system functionality and benefits
Escalate technical issues where necessary.


Reporting & Documentation:


Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports
Update CRM systems and pipeline tracking tools regularly


Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields
Professional certifications in sales or IT are an added advantage


Experience:


Minimum of 2 - 4 years experience in IT sales or technical sales
Proven experience in selling technology products or digital solutions


Required Skills:


Strong understanding of IT products and services
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Negotiation and relationship management skills
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
