Key Responsibilities


Assist in day-to-day accounting operations including data entry, reconciliations, and ledger updates.
Support the preparation and posting of journal entries and financial transactions.
Assist in managing accounts receivable and payable, collections, and payment processing.
Help in maintaining proper filing of invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation.
Provide support to external auditors by organizing and sharing relevant records.
Assist in statutory and tax compliance activities including PAYE, VAT, and Withholding Tax.
Prepare draft financial summaries and reports for review by the Senior Accountant.
Respond to client queries with professionalism, patience, and accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold integrity in managing client information.


Qualifications and Experience


CPA (K) qualification (Certified Public Accountant - Kenya).
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a reputable audit, accounting, or finance firm.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and basic tax compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
Excellent written and spoken English.
