Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting people?
We're looking for a proactive Junior HR Administrator to join our People Shared Services team and play a key role in delivering exceptional HR support across the business.
Based in a fast-paced, service-driven environment, you'll help ensure smooth HR operations while providing excellent support to employees and internal stakeholders.
Why This Role Matters:
This role serves as a critical support function that helps keep HR operations running smoothly across the business.
By ensuring accurate record management, timely resolution of employee queries, compliance with policies and procedures, and effective administration support, the Junior HR Administrator contributes directly to a positive employee experience and operational excellence.
What You Will Do:
Allocating incoming e-mail and system generated requests/queries within the agreed SLA timeframe
Coordinate and manage appointments for biometric capturing
Assist with maintaining data in the biometric system
Promptly respond to general telephonic and e-mail requests in a professional manner
Retrieving and tracking of employee files when required, adhering to PSS and Compliance policy
Providing administrative support to HR Administrators when required
Locate and collate HR Admin documents for audit purposes
Organize and update employee personnel records in the Payroll / HR system
Effectively manage tasks to ensure targets, deadlines and SLA requirements are achieved
Keep up-to-date with company policies and legal compliance requirements
Participate in adhoc projects within the HR admin space
Required Knowledge and Experience
1 year in an administrative position
Strong administrative & organisational skills
Intermediate PC literacy, MS office (Helpdesk experience advantageous)
High Accuracy with attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written and in-person communication skills
Stress tolerance and excellent time management skills
Deadline driven
Educational Requirements
Matric (NQF 4)
Related diploma or degree will serve as an advantage
