About the Role
As a Junior Salesforce Developer, you will:


Build and configure Salesforce/Clariti solutions, working with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions within the Salesforce platform.
Design, develop, and implement customized solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies under the guidance of senior developers.
Translate user stories and configuration specifications into working Salesforce features, ensuring solutions align with client business needs
Use JIRA to track tickets, manage workflows, and collaborate with consultants, QA, and senior developers in alignment with Agile methodology
Write Apex unit tests and participate in code reviews, deployments, and bug fixes across sandbox and production environments
Stay current with Salesforce updates, trends, and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation.


About You


Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I and/or Platform Developer II are a strong plus.
1 to 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including exposure to Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder). Internship, Trailhead, or personal project experience.
Familiarity with Clariti Solutions or other Salesforce industry cloud products is highly desirable.
Understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), Salesforce DevOps and release management (e.g., Gearset), automated testing, code reviews, and clear documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex issues and provide effective solutions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
Public sector experience with a focus on permitting, planning, licensing, and code enforcement is an added advantage.
