Are you a recent Financial Planning graduate ready to launch your career in the financial services industry? PSG is looking for a Junior Technical Specialist: Advice, to join our team in Tygervalley, Cape Town.
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to financial planning and advice, working alongside a team of experienced specialists who support a large national network of financial advisers.

Responsibilities:


Assist with coordinating engagement sessions between internal and/or external stakeholders
Assist in liaising with advisers, help capture and organise data received, and support feedback collation
Assist with compiling financial planning related content
Support senior team members on technical product and advice matters, including preparation for adviser-focused meetings
Assist with investment related projects and daily tasks such as portfolio and product research
Help track progress on team projects and provide general administrative support to keep them moving forward
Help compile progress reports on projects and ad hoc business initiatives for review by senior team members
Conduct research for ad hoc projects as assigned by the team


Minimum requirements:

Qualifications


Degree in Financial Planning or related (completed, or final year of study)
Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning / progress towards CFP designation (advantageous)


Experience


No prior formal work experience required; this is an entry-level graduate opportunity
Exposure to financial planning, the financial services industry or investment products, life insurance or financial planning through vacation work, internships or academic projects is advantageous
Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
