Providing attentive daily care to hospitalised and boarding animals
Feeding patients according to veterinary instructions
Cleaning and maintaining kennels, runs and treatment areas to a high standard
Assisting with the safe handling and restraint of animals
Monitoring patients and reporting any changes in behaviour or condition
Assisting the veterinary and nursing team with daily hospital duties
Administering basic treatments or medication when appropriately trained and instructed
Maintaining a clean, hygienic and organised hospital environment
Handling animals with patience, confidence and compassion
Assisting with receiving, moving and discharging patients
Ensuring hospital protocols and infection-control standards are consistently followed
