RESPONSIBILITIES
The Key Account Manager will lead the set up and penetration of the Coty Brands in game changer key accounts. Develop and oversee the brands retail sales and ship to trade targets. Implement excellent user experience and customer journeys in bricks and mortar and online. Manage end-to-end relationship and performance for allocated key account partners.
Your main areas of responsibility will include the following:
The day-to-day:
An expert on the retailers' account by building a formidable relationship to drive agreed business growth and turnover.
Scope out opportunities for growth and key initiatives to leverage category growth and market share within key accounts.
Innovate and activate key launches, campaigns and collaborations with marketing for impactful brand presence leading to business.
Ensure right presence on brands across top sku's to ensure discoverability, build customer experience through forward share and online brand pages
Support scoping future partners in terms of development potential, profitability, sales revenues and develop and implement the necessary plans of action.
Build a sustainable relationship with existing accounts. Answering day to day client enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Analyse the results of the sales in depth to jointly develop new ways to optimize the performance of the accounts
Gather cross-functional inputs, in order to determine company-wide opportunity values.
Support the development of omni-channel strategies.

Onsite presence for top SKUs - availability and right presence.
Innovate and animate key launches through marketing.
Retailer media negotiation and implementation.
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You have a passion for beauty! As a Key Account Manager, you will develop multi-tasking skills and get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:
Have more than 5 years of solid sales and business development experience with a minimum of 3 years in key account management of major retailers. (Marketing experience may be considered).
Have a degree or diploma in marketing or similar tertiary education.
Have proven ability to drive retail success of a brand/product.
Good interpersonal skills to build a solid relationship with the retail buyers and planners and other stakeholders.
Knowledge of FMCG, FMCG marketing specifically would be preferred.
Strategic thinking, creativity and innovation
Strong business and financial acumen. Has successfully delivered on KPIs, especially top and bottom-line business results
Analytical skills with strong experience interpreting test results & drawing conclusions
Proactive, flexible and adaptable to rapid change
Hands-on mentality, not afraid to tackle administrative tasks to develop accounts
Strong eye for detail
Willingness to learn Able to lead self and others, with strong interpersonal skills, EQ, coaching and teamwork abilities
Manages stress and can work on multiple complex projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and employs sound judgement in decision making
Full proficiency in English language. Confident in both written and spoken communication with the ability to present and influence at all levels
Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills (formulas and pivot tables)
