We're looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven Key Account Manager who thrives on building strategic partnerships, winning new business and growing existing accounts.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established leader in the FMCG industry, supplying premium frozen fruit, vegetables and related products to South Africa's leading food service and retail customers.

Key responsibilities:


Growing and managing a portfolio of key customer accounts
Identifying and securing new business opportunities
Building long-term relationships with major retail and food service customers
Achieving ambitious sales, margin and growth targets
Developing strategic account plans that deliver measurable results
Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
Collaborating with internal teams to maximise customer value through upselling and cross-selling
Presenting products, attending trade exhibitions and representing the business professionally
Providing accurate sales forecasts and account performance reporting


Requirements:


Minimum 4 years' successful Key Account Management experience
Proven experience within the food service and/or retail industry
An established network within the purchasing departments of major food service or retail customers
A strong track record of achieving sales growth and exceeding targets
Excellent negotiation, relationship-building and communication skills
Strong commercial and analytical ability
A proactive, self-driven approach with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel across various regions
