The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners by using play-based and interactive teaching methods. This role is about more than academics — it's about laying a strong foundation for spiritual, emotional, and intellectual development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with ECDE curriculum requirements.
Cater to the specific learning styles and needs of individual learners.
Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching materials.
Collaborate with the curriculum coordinator on subject curriculum organization.
Maintain discipline, structure, and a safe learning environment in the classroom.
Assess student work, mark assignments, and provide feedback.
Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
Nurture children's emotional and social development alongside academic growth.
Encourage creativity and curiosity through structured play and interactive methods.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE)
2+ years relevant teaching experience
TSC Registration
Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
