About the Role


We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with strong experience in PHP (Laravel) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving web applications that deliver excellent user experiences and robust backend performance.
This is a six months contract base role with possibilities of renewal and conversion depending on performance.


Key Responsibilities


Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using Laravel framework.
Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other external services.
Build and enhance responsive front-end interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js or React).
Manage database structures, migrations, and optimization
Architect and implement scalable solutions, ensuring optimal performance and maintainability.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Maintain and refactor existing codebases to improve performance and security.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade systems when necessary.
Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure adherence to best practices.
Conduct technical feasibility assessments for new product features and improvements.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and proactively recommend improvements to enhance product scalability and user experience.
Participate in technical decision-making and contribute to the overall product roadmap from a development perspective


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 2 proven years of professional experience in full stack web development.
Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap/Tailwind CSS.
Experience with Vue.js or React.js frameworks.
Good understanding of software architecture, security practices, and deployment pipelines.
Knowledge of unit testing
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, or similar) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
