Lead Geologist

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will Own the field's geological model — the structural and stratigraphic framework from 3D seismic, petrophysical evaluation, and the volumetric and uncertainty basis behind reserves Own the well prognosis and the geological content of the drilling and data acquisition programmes, and supervise wellsite geology through the well campaign Complete the well-to-seismic tie and re-map the field on the calibrated interpretation, revising volumetrics and fluid contacts Lead the geological basis for the post-first-oil Field Development Plan — how reservoir geometry, connectivity and compartmentalisation bear on well placement, facility siting and phasing Mature the model through producing life: appraisal, development and infill wells, reservoir management input, and opportunities to improve recovery and extend field life What we are looking for Degree in Geology or Geoscience 8+ years in subsurface geology, spanning well operations and development geoscience 3D seismic interpretation, well-to-seismic tie, velocity modelling and depth conversion Static modelling, petrophysical evaluation, and volumetric estimation with uncertainty ranges Well operations experience — geological prognosis and drilling programme, wellsite geology supervision, and real-time tops and casing point calls On-site in Lagos with rig-site and offshore visits during well operations.
