Lecturer[2] - Occupational Therapy - AN- Scale -KMTC 8 - 15 Posts at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC)

Duties at this level will include: Teaching and evaluating students; Preparing schemes of work, lesson notes and lesson plans; Assessing students in clinical areas; Guiding and counselling students on matters related to their academics; Supporting the design and development of instruments to assess health training needs; Developing guidelines for the evaluation of health teaching materials; Evaluating training programmes to determine their effectiveness and relevance; Implementing competence-based curriculum; Planning and organising continuing education programmes for health workers; and Conducting research in the area of specialisation and supervising students on research projects.

For appointment to this level a candidate must have; -


Bachelor's Degree in: Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy;


OR


KMTC Higher Diploma in Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration Therapy, Renal Rehabilitation, Community Based Rehabilitation or Speech and Language Therapy
Been registered by Occupational Therapy Council of Kenya (OTCoK);
Valid practicing license; and
Proficiency in Computer Applications.
