Qualifications and Experience
Master of Medicine (MMed) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or equivalent specialist qualification from a recognized university
Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) with a valid practicing license
Evidence of at least two publications in refereed scholarly journals
OR One refereed journal publication and one scholarly book chapter
Demonstrated potential for academic research and postgraduate training
Evidence of continuous professional development, including:
Participation in academic conferences
Research presentations
Clinical teaching activities
Academic workshops
Demonstrated commitment to pursuing a PhD or equivalent doctoral qualification
Expected Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate medical students
Participate in clinical teaching and supervision of trainees
Conduct research and publish scholarly work
Participate in curriculum development and academic activities
Provide clinical services in affiliated teaching hospitals
Participate in departmental academic programs and professional development activities
