Applicants MUST have the following academic/professional qualifications:
Earned PhD in Veterinary Parasitology or related field from a recognized University
At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level or research/industry experience.
OR
Master's degree in Veterinary Parasitology or related field from a recognized University
Have a minimum of twenty -four (24) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least sixteen (16) from refereed journals.
Be registered with the Kenya Veterinary Board
