Key Responsibilities
To teach and deliver lectures and practical laboratory sessions in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, and Computer Forensics in accordance with the approved curriculum.
To develop, review, and update course materials, teaching resources, and assessment tools and inlign with emerging technologies and academic standards
To conduct research and publish scholarly work in reputable peer-reviewed journals and conferences in areas related to Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or Cybersecurity
To supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students' research projects, dissertations, and theses, while providing academic mentorship and guidance.
To participate in departmental, faculty, and institutional activities including curriculum development, academic committees, community engagement, and quality assurance processes
Qualifications and skills
Possession of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Forensics, Artificial Intelligence, or related field will be an added advantage.
Must possess a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Forensics, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university
The candidate must demonstrate competence in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Information Technology disciplines
The applicant must have a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience at a university, college, or recognized higher education institution.
Registration with relevant professional bodies such as Computer Society, ICT Authority, or other recognized ICT professional organizations will be an added advantage.
Must have published academic work in reputable peer-reviewed journals or conferences
