Responsabilities
Prepare and complete probate forms and court documents under the direction of the attorney and/or paralegal
Draft standard legal correspondence, notices, and simple pleadings Maintain and organize digital client files in our case management system (MyCase)
Assist with intake coordination, client follow-ups, and status updates
Ensure documents are accurate, properly formatted, and filed within deadlines
Conduct basic research related to probate court procedures and requirements
Coordinate e-filing of documents with the court system, when needed
Provide general administrative support to legal staff as assigned
Skills
Prior experience in a legal setting preferred; experience in probate or estate planning a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Must be a fast learner with the ability to absorb procedures and templates quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and online filing systems
Familiarity with case management software (MyCase preferred, but not required)
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong organizational and time management skills
