As a Legal Manager, Contract & Litigation, you'll help protect and enable our business across Africa by turning legal insight into practical action. Working closely with teams across commercial, supply chain, HR and leadership functions, you'll provide trusted advice that supports growth while managing risk. From shaping commercial agreements to leading dispute resolution and employment law matters, your work will influence important business decisions and help safeguard our brands, reputation and operations. What You'll Be Doing
Help the business move forward with confidence by providing practical legal advice on commercial opportunities, contracts and business decisions.
Negotiate and shape commercial agreements that create value while balancing commercial ambition with appropriate risk management.
Lead litigation, arbitration and dispute matters to achieve timely, effective outcomes that protect the company's interests and reputation.
Partner with HR and business leaders to navigate employment and labour law matters, supporting fair, consistent and legally sound decisions.
Strengthen the organisation's legal and regulatory position by identifying emerging risks, supporting investigations and responding to regulatory matters.
Build strong relationships across the business while improving legal operations, reporting, awareness and stakeholder understanding of key legal issues.
What You'll Bring
An LL.B degree and qualification as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court.
Around 3-5 years of experience in commercial law, dispute resolution, employment law, compliance or a related legal environment.
Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
Knowledge of litigation, arbitration and dispute management, with the ability to balance legal risk and business priorities.
Experience advising on employment and labour law matters, investigations and workplace issues.
Excellent legal research, analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders and deliver high-quality work in a fast-moving environment.
