Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibility

Functions / Day to day activities:


Establishing and maintaining relationship with government agencies, NGOS, UN agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
Communication Facilitation: Acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring messages between parties are clear and properly understood. This might involve drafting reports, making presentations, and holding meetings.
Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, including NGO registration, reporting and other requirements.
Attending relevant meetings, forums and working groups to represent the NGO and gather information.
Facilitating the timely submission of all necessary documents to government bodies for approvals, partners and donors.
Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders that include internal teams, beneficiaries, and other external partners.
Conflict Resolution: Addressing and resolving conflicts efficiently by mediating between parties to reach a mutual agreement.
Information Dissemination: Ensuring timely provision and flow of accurate information to maintain transparency and trust.
Coordination of Activities: Overseeing the TBSF's activities or projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals.


Requirements:


Proven experience as a Liaison focal point, Public Relations Officer or similar role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders.
Problem-solving skills and a community-service orientation.
A keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to travel as necessary.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
Must have a working laptop

A demonstrated ability to multi-task and process information into action in a timely manner
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Hausa.
Interpersonal Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships and maintaining effective communication with diverse community groups and stakeholders.
Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to engage and captivate an audience.
Organizational Competence: Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
