Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and reliable Lift Operator to operate and monitor the lift safely and efficiently.
The successful candidate will assist passengers, ensure proper lift operation, and report any faults or safety concerns promptly.
Key Responsibilities
Operate the lift safely and efficiently.
Assist passengers when entering and exiting the lift.
Ensure the lift is kept clean and presentable.
Monitor the lift for any unusual sounds, faults, or operational issues.
Report breakdowns, faults, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
Ensure passengers comply with lift safety rules.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with passengers.
Keep simple records of lift usage or reported issues when required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Lift Operator, Elevator Operator, or in a similar role is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be attentive, responsible, and safety-conscious.
Ability to remain calm and helpful when assisting passengers.
Must be physically fit and able to work flexible hours when required.
Qualities:
Punctual and reliable.
Well-presented and courteous.
Good customer service skills.
Ability to follow instructions.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
