Job Description
Overseeing all stages of litigation from case inception through discovery, trial, and potential appeals.
Preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs.
Managing the exchange of information, including depositions, document production, and interrogatories.
Representing clients in hearings, trials, and administrative proceedings.
Advising clients on risks, negotiating settlements or attending mediations.
Analyzing case law and statutes to build strong legal arguments.
Degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the state bar association.
Typically 8 - 9years of litigation experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Strong legal research, writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills.
