Locum EMT Operators at AAR Healthcare Kenya

Overall purpose of the job:


To safely operate the ambulance unit and assist medical personnel in delivering effective pre-hospital emergency care to patients


Key Responsibilities


Safely drive and operate the ambulance during emergency responses and patient transfers
Assist the paramedic in providing pre-hospital patient care and clinical support
Perform routine vehicle checks, maintenance and ensure overall roadworthiness
Maintain complete inventory records of vehicle spare parts and emergency equipment
Inspect and ensure all onboard communication systems remain operational
Maintain accurate logbooks, maintenance records and vehicle-related expense receipts


Qualifications, Experience & Core Competencies


Certificate in EMT-Basic or EMT-Intermediate
Valid practicing license from the Kenya Council of Emergency Medical Technicians (KCEMT)
Valid Class BCE driving license
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an emergency ambulance operator
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
High attention to detail and situational awareness
