Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) Practicing License.
Minimum of one (1) year post-internship clinical experience in a hospital setting.
Experience working in a busy Level 4 or higher hospital will be an added advantage.
Ability to work in various departments including Outpatient, Inpatient, Maternity, Theatre, Emergency, and Pediatric units.
Sound knowledge of nursing procedures, patient safety standards, infection prevention and control practices.
Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
High level of professionalism, integrity, flexibility, and commitment to quality patient care.
Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
Providing safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to patients.
Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient progress accurately.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Supporting doctors and other healthcare professionals during patient management.
Ensuring compliance with Nursing Council of Kenya regulations and hospital policies
Maintaining infection prevention and control standards at all times.
Participating in emergency response and patient stabilization where necessary.
Ensuring proper nursing documentation and handover procedures.
Promoting patient education and advocating for patient-centered care.
Supporting the hospital\'s quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
