Responsibilities
Support in negotiating rates and contracts with transporters
Support with effective and timely delivery of customers goods
Respond to and resolve complaints and problems very timely
Ensure Goods arrive client's destination in good conditions by monitoring transporters and their drivers
Keep up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them
Oversee the entire process of a shipment, from acquisition to delivery
Correspond with clients, suppliers, warehouses, and transportation hubs to ensure efficiency.
Requirements
A Degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline.
At least 3 years professional experience in established Haulage & logistics Firm with knowledge in ETO/TTP operating systems.
In this role the officer is expected to support, plan and manage logistics, warehouse, and transportation of client's goods from port to destination.
