Responsibilties
Preventive Maintenance: Scheduling and performing regular checks on HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, and electrical components to prevent breakdowns.
Guest Room and Facility Repairs: Fixing broken items (furniture, faucets, locks), painting, repairing drywall, and responding to work orders generated by housekeeping or guests.
Safety and Compliance: Testing fire alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, and ensuring all areas comply with local health and safety regulations.
Systems Maintenance: Operating and maintaining major machinery, including elevators, laundry equipment, kitchen appliances, and swimming pool filtration systems.
Energy Management: Monitoring energy consumption and optimizing equipment performance to reduce operating costs.
Exterior Upkeep: Maintaining the building facade, parking lot, lighting, and landscaping.
Emergency Response: Acting immediately to resolve emergency situations, such as power outages or water leaks.
Inventory and Contractor Management: Tracking maintenance supplies and overseeing external contractors for specialized repairs.
