Maintenance Technican (Electrician/ Millwright) at Farm Managers SA

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


Trade Certificate as a Millwright or Electrician
Minimum 1 year maintenance experience
Packhouse experience will be advantageous.


COMPETENCIES REQUIRED


Strong troubleshooting ability
Able to work under pressure.
Good planning and attention to detail
Physically fit with good manual dexterity


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO


Perform planned preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and conveyor system faults.
Install, service, maintain, and align plant machinery and production equipment.
Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative checks to ensure reliable equipment performance.
Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, VFDs, HMI interfaces, and other automated control systems. Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and spare parts inventories while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
