Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced supervisor to oversee the operations of a boutique hotel located in Meru. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experience, efficient management of staff, and strategic growth of the hotel's market presence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Tourism, Business, or related fields
3 years' experience in a similar or related role within the hospitality industry
Excellent understanding of market dynamics and digital marketing fundamentals
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
Excellent IT skills and ability to use automated hotel management software and accounting systems
Duties & Responsibilities
Hotel management:
Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments
Customer service: Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction and resolve issues promptly
Staff supervision:
Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service
Reporting:
Prepare and present operational and financial reports to management
Sales management:
Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies
Financial oversight:
Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability
Inventory management:
Oversee procurement and stock control for supplies and amenities
Compliance and safety:
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and legal regulations
Digital marketing:
Manage online presence, social media, SEO, and digital campaigns to attract guests
Corporate marketing:
Build partnerships with businesses, travel agencies, and corporate clients to secure group bookings and events
Event coordination:
Manage special events, conferences, and functions hosted at the hotel
Quality assurance:
Regularly review service standards and implement improvements
Community engagement:
Build strong relationships with local businesses and tourism stakeholders
Technology management:
Utilize hotel management systems and digital tools to streamline operations
