Job Description
Manage and review outsourced accounting engagements for multiple clients
Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management accounts
Ensure compliance with IFRS / IFRS for SMEs and Kenyan regulatory requirements
Review and approve tax filings including Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE, and Withholding Tax
Supervise, mentor, and review work of accounting staff
Maintain quality control, ethical standards, and proper documentation
Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients and attend client meetings
Identify advisory, cross-selling, and revenue growth opportunities
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA (K) qualification and active ICPAK membership
6 - 8 years' relevant experience, with at least 2 - 3 years in a managerial role
Strong knowledge of IFRS, Kenyan tax laws, and compliance frameworks
Excellent leadership, client management, and communication skills
