How You'll Make an Impact


We are looking for a results-driven and customer-focused Manager - Product Management to lead the strategy and execution of a core product area within our software portfolio.
You will be responsible for shaping the product roadmap, driving product-market fit, and ensuring high-quality delivery that creates measurable customer and business value. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, structured decision-making, and a balance of strategic thinking with disciplined execution.
You will work closely with Engineering, Commercial, Strategy, and Operations to translate business objectives and market needs into clear product requirements and scalable solutions that support Africa's energy transformation.


What You'll Do

Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership


Define and own the roadmap for your product area aligned with company objectives
Contribute to overall product strategy and long-term planning
Conduct market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis to inform prioritization
Drive product-market fit through structured experimentation and feedback loops
Make data-informed prioritization decisions balancing customer value, revenue impact, scalability, and technical feasibility


Product Delivery & Execution


Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through launch and optimisation
Maintain and prioritise a well-structured backlog aligned with strategic goals
Partner closely with Engineering to ensure high-quality and scalable releases
Translate business and market requirements into clear product specifications
Ensure delivery timelines, scope, and quality standards are met


Stakeholder & Customer Engagement


Understand pain points and gather feedback
Present product updates, demos, and roadmaps to internal and external stakeholders


Data & Performance Management


Define and track product KPIs and success metrics
Leverage usage data, customer insights, and financial indicators to guide decisions
Lead post-launch reviews and drive continuous product optimization
Identify opportunities for innovation and incremental product improvements


Managerial Responsibilities


Lead and develop a high-performing team with clear goals, KPIs, and accountability standards
Manage team capacity, resource allocation, and delivery planning within approved budgets
Participate in annual planning and forecasting processes
Own hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and individual development plans
Ensure operational discipline, timely delivery, and quality standards
Identify and escalate resource or budget risks impacting delivery
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement


What We're Looking For

Professional & Technical Strengths


Product management experience within SaaS, enterprise software, or complex technology environments
Proven experience owning and delivering product roadmaps
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience translating business requirements into structured product specifications
Data-driven decision-maker comfortable working with product analytics and KPIs
Technical fluency to collaborate effectively with Engineering teams
