Key Responsibilities:
Product Promotion and Detailing
Visit doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare facilities regularly.
Present and explain product features, benefits, and indications.
Provide scientific information to support product use.
Distribute samples and promotional materials appropriately.
Address questions and objections professionally
Achieving Sales Targets
Meet or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Develop territory action plans to increase product uptake.
Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies where necessary.
Ensure consistent growth in product market share.
Follow up on pending orders to secure sales closure.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers
Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis
Monitor competitor products, pricing, and promotional strategies.
Gather feedback from healthcare professionals on product performance.
Identify market gaps and emerging opportunities.
Report market trends and competitor activities to management.
Recommend strategies to improve product positioning.
Compliance and Ethical Marketing
Ensure all promotional activities comply with regulatory guidelines.
Adhere to policies set by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
Promote products based on approved indications only.
Maintain transparency and integrity in all marketing activities
Keep accurate records of samples and promotional materials distributed
Qualification
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Marketing, or related field.
Registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (added advantage).
2 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
Valid driving license (where required).
