Key Result Areas:
Analytics Strategy and Execution
Manages and executes on entire analytics projects delivery to production by translating business needs into analytics deliveries and value creation through insights generation.
The incumbent is comfortable in data wrangling, visualization, insight generation and the impact measurement of the analytics delivery.
Supports and maintains dashboards and other analytics solutions that support the relevant business processes.
The Specialist Data Analyst serves as a strategic analytics partner to Group Marketing, transforming customer, campaign, brand and digital data into actionable insights that influence business decisions, improve marketing effectiveness and support the achievement of strategic objectives. The role combines analytical expertise, business acumen and stakeholder engagement to ensure that data is translated into measurable business outcomes.
The incumbent will identify, quantify and communicate opportunities, risks and trends that influence marketing and customer strategy.
Translates complex data into clear business recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Assists the moving of the organisation from descriptive reporting towards proactive and predictive decision-making
Develops measurement frameworks that quantify marketing performance and business impact.
Technical Leadership
Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills
Provides technical thought leadership and introduces new tools or ways of working to improve insight generation or analytics efficiency
Drive adoption of advanced analytics, AI and automation to improve business outcomes.
Business Partnering
Act as a trusted analytics advisor to marketing leaders and business stakeholders.
Influence decision-making through compelling storytelling, visualisation and communication of insights.
Responsible for building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to create and maintain an analytics road map for periods up to a year.
Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality against agreed road map.
Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results.
Collaborates on Pilots, post implementation reviews and adjusts solutions accordingly to measure and maximise value from analytics deliveries
Communicating and presenting analysis results to key stakeholders across organisational levels
Requirements: Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
Statistical/ Commerce/ Maths related honours or master's degree
8+ years technical or data analysis related experience.
Commercially minded analytics professional with the ability to measure impact of analytics delivery implementation
Analytics business partnering or account management experience with the ability to build strong relationships across teams
Coding experience (SQL, Alteryx, Python etc.)
Dashboarding and visualization experience (Tableau, Power BI etc)
Confident communication of complex ideas simply
Detailed oriented with high-quality standards and rigour in validation of analytics outputs
Preferred Requirements:
Data engineering or sourcing experience
Digital marketing experience (Google Ads, GA4, Meta Ads etc)
Marketing analytics experience including media measurement
Experience with market research data (brand trackers, establishment surveys etc.)
Role Overview:
As a senior analytics specialist, the incumbent to this role will partner with Group Marketing generally and the digital marketing team specifically to derive commercial value through the delivery of analytics projects.
This delivery includes account/stakeholder management/ analytics project design and scoping, data sourcing, data wrangling, data visualization, insights generation, driving insights to action with business partners and finally value realization. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results over periods of up to a year
