About the Position


Our client is seeking a creative, organised, and experienced Marketing Assistant & Graphic Designer to join their team. The successful candidate will support the execution of marketing campaigns, brand communications, digital content, graphic design, events, lead generation, and dealer network activities. This role will be responsible for ensuring high-quality creative output, consistent brand standards, effective marketing support, and accurate execution of campaigns and communications across the business.


Key Responsibilities
Marketing Planning, Campaigns & Reporting


Assist with the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of monthly marketing activities and campaigns.
Compile and maintain weekly and monthly marketing performance reports, including campaign results, insights, feedback, and recommendations.
Evaluate campaign performance across relevant marketing channels and assist with the development of corrective actions and contingency plans.
Assist with the interpretation, organisation, and presentation of market research and marketing insights.
Assist with the conceptualisation and development of campaign ideas and creative concepts based on briefs received from internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate monthly and ad-hoc lead-generation campaigns, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Provide administrative and operational support to the Sales and Marketing departments.


Brand Management & Marketing Communications


Develop, coordinate, and manage brand collateral for Head Office, branches, dealers, and the wider network.
Develop and coordinate marketing communication materials, including creative concepts, mock-ups, amendments, and approval processes prior to launch.
Ensure all marketing materials and communications consistently adhere to Corporate Identity (CI) and brand guidelines.
Review dealer and branch marketing materials to ensure brand compliance and consistency, supported by weekly and monthly compliance reporting.
Manage the development and adaptation of artwork according to third-party supplier specifications across various online and offline platforms.
Assist with the development of dealer network and branch-specific marketing material requirements.
Manage amendments and updates to dealer portal content and marketing material.
Assist with monthly copywriting and content development requirements.
Provide in-house design and editing support to other departments, including full and partial artwork amendments.


Digital Marketing, Social Media & Lead Generation


Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day management of social media platforms, including content, scheduling, budgets, campaigns, and performance monitoring.
Monitor online brand and product platforms to identify relevant activity, opportunities, issues, and customer engagement.
Coordinate with external agencies on social media management, digital campaigns, and lead-generation initiatives.
Manage the distribution and administration of leads across the dealer network.
Operate and maintain the Lead Management System (LMS), including filtering and preparing month-end lead reports for performance measurement.
Monitor and maintain Zapier integrations and automated lead flows between the LMS and the central lead-management system.
Ensure accurate and timely lead distribution to the relevant dealer network.
Track and report on lead-generation performance and campaign outcomes.


Marketing Stock, POS & Inventory Management


Manage and maintain marketing stock, POS materials, and inventory.
Ensure effective organisation and maintenance of the marketing storeroom.
Coordinate the distribution of marketing stock and POS materials to Head Office, branches, dealers, and internal teams.
Manage dealer POS requests, allocations, and distribution.
Maintain accurate stock records and inventory controls.
Assist with the packing, preparation, and dispatch of marketing materials and POS items.


Events & Activation


Assist with the planning, preparation, coordination, and execution of marketing events, including Head Office, branch, dealer, and external events.
Coordinate event requirements, marketing materials, branding, logistics, and content requirements.
Provide on-site event support, including event coverage, photography, videography, and content capture.
Travel as required for events, activations, shoots, and other marketing activities.
Assist with the coordination and execution of ATL, BTL, and TTL marketing activities across the brand and dealer network.


Photography, Videography & Content Production


Plan and execute photography and videography for internal and external marketing requirements.
Capture and edit photographic and video content for brand, product, dealer, event, and campaign purposes.
Manage photography and videography equipment and ensure it is maintained and available when required.
Travel to on-site locations to conduct content shoots and coordinate production activities.
Manage the capture, editing, approval, and distribution of marketing content.
Provide coverage for brand, dealer, network, event, ATL, BTL, and TTL requirements.


Dealer & Network Marketing Support


Provide ongoing marketing support to the dealer and branch network.
Manage network marketing requests, POS requirements, campaign material, and communication distribution.
Conduct regular reviews of dealer marketing material to ensure brand and CI compliance.
Compile weekly and monthly network compliance and activity reports.
Maintain accurate dealer marketing databases, contact lists, and distribution lists.
Ensure marketing communication and approved collateral are distributed to the relevant network stakeholders in a timely manner.


Systems, Software & Administration


Maintain and manage all required marketing and creative software programmes.
Ensure all marketing databases, distribution lists, systems, and records are accurate and up to date.
Support the effective administration of marketing systems, including LMS, lead-generation platforms, dealer portals, and automated integrations.
Maintain appropriate documentation, reporting, approvals, and campaign records.
Assist with general marketing administration and coordination as required.


Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience


Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar marketing, brand, digital, or creative role
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
Experience with marketing reporting, campaign coordination, digital marketing, social media, lead generation, and brand management
Experience working with creative/design software and digital marketing platforms
Valid Code 8 driver's licence
Willingness and ability to travel for events, content shoots, dealer visits, and marketing activities
