Job Description


Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive at AutoXpress will play a vital role in supporting the marketing team's administrative functions and ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations. The position will collaborate with cross‑functional departments to coordinate marketing campaigns, maintain up‑to‑date marketing materials, and contribute to the development and implementation of the overall marketing strategy. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast‑paced environment.


This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya.

An overview of the duties and responsibilities of the role are outlined as below:


Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns.
Coordinate marketing projects and activities, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are on target.
Maintain marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital assets, ensuring they are up to date and aligned with brand guidelines.
Conduct market research and analyze marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
Support the marketing team in organizing events, webinars, and promotional activities.
Monitor marketing budgets, track expenses, and prepare reports on marketing performance.
Assist in creating and optimizing marketing campaigns for retail branches.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new marketing tools/software to enhance marketing efforts.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE


Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience (>3 years) in marketing administration or a similar role.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing software/tools.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven marketing decisions.
High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Preferably a Kenyan citizen.
