Job Description


Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Demas has an exciting opportunity for a Masterdata Administrator. The candidate will be required to ensure integrity and consistency of orders & pricing in master data system and provide administrative support to the department and support with any ad hoc duties when required.


Minimum Requirements:

Essential:


Grade 12 - Matric or Senior Certificate with Mathematics.
Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience in administration and containing product knowledge.


Advantage:


Diploma/Degree in Procurement or related field.


Job Specification:

Master Data Management:


Monitor the pricing data and ensure it is maintained and updated.
Ensure that all the discrepancies that appear with regards to orders, pricing, promotions are corrected.
Ensure that no CJD Wholesales selling prices are selling below net cost.
Investigate negative GP values in the business unit and take appropriate actions to identify and rectify controllable errors.
Assist in loading of CJD and TLC promotional files timeously before promotions.
Assist in creating and maintaining a reliable master data file.
Participate in projects and initiatives across multiple departments.
Analyse stock master performance indicators such as volume sales and competitor price reports.


Customer Liaison:


Resolve and escalate supplier queries within agreed SLA.
Build and maintain professional relationships with Suppliers.
Assist with internal customer queries in a helpful and insightful manner.
Collaborate with different Business Units to resolve master data issues e.g., Inventory, Capturing.
Follow projects pans on big changes needed.


General Administration:


Ensure the filing system of information is systematically maintained.
Conduct weekly analyses on category price performance.
Monitor product performance indicators and provide feedback to the Buyer.
Follow up on promotional activities and products as well as deliveries of orders.
Request POD (proof of delivery) from supplier if needed.
Carry out other duties, responsibilities and projects as assigned, in an effective manner.
Managed dormant stock and short-dated stock in the Distribution Centre.


General:
