A leading organisation is seeking an experienced and driven Masterdata Manager to establish, govern and manage master data across multiple systems, sites and business processes.
This business-critical role will ensure the accuracy, consistency and integrity of data supporting planning, procurement, finance, manufacturing, sales and reporting across the organisation.
Key Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business or a related field.
8 - 10 years' experience in master data management, ERP systems or supply chain data environments.
Experience working across multi-site or multi-system environments, preferably FMCG or manufacturing.
Proven expertise in data governance, data quality management and system integration.
Strong understanding of ERP systems and master data structures.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a group-wide master data governance framework.
Establish data ownership, standards, policies, procedures and controls across business functions.
Drive standardisation of data definitions and structures across systems and sites.
Manage key master data domains, including customers, suppliers, procurement, materials/SKUs, BOMs, production, pricing and trade terms.
Oversee master data creation, maintenance and deletion through effective validation and approval workflows.
Ensure data is accurate, complete, consistent and synchronised across ERP and related systems.
Support system implementations, upgrades and integrations from a master data perspective.
Implement data quality monitoring, reporting, cleansing and issue-resolution processes.
Identify root causes of data issues and drive corrective action.
Manage changes to master data structures and assess their impact across systems and processes.
Drive continuous improvement and support business transformation and integration initiatives.
Provide guidance and develop master data capability across the organisation.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Sales and Operations to strengthen data integrity and accountability.
