RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect, diagnose, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide range of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, motor graders, trucks, and loaders.
Conduct repairs, replacements, and adjustments to mechanical systems for optimal equipment efficiency.
Perform routine service tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication to prevent breakdowns.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment manuals.
Analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
Keep track of spare parts and material inventory.
Assist in ordering required parts and supplies.
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
Provide detailed reports on equipment conditions and repair status Advise management on spare parts procurement and fleet maintenance schedules.
Observe safety protocols.
Coordinate with external service providers or workshops when specialized repairs are needed.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Carry out any other duty that may be given.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma/Certificate in Automotive Engineering, Marketing.
Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in vehicle and heavy machinery maintenance, preferably in the Construction Industry.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, petrol, and diesel engines.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team under minimum supervision.
