Salary: ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂæ150,000 (Negotiable)
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter cum Technician to support maintenance operations across our Filling Line, Plastic Manufacturing Plant, and Utility systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical fitting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on production and utility equipment
Troubleshoot breakdowns to minimize downtime
Maintain and service filling machines, moulding equipment, compressors, chillers, and generators
Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and machine history
Support installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
OND/HND or Trade Test/City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or related field
3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG/plastics preferred)
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic systems, pumps, motors, conveyors, and packaging machines
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals
Experience with injection/blow moulding is an added advantage
Skills
Strong mechanical fitting and fabrication skills
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
Knowledge of lubrication, alignment, and maintenance practices
Familiarity with safety procedures (LOTO, confined space, etc.)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and adapt
