About the Job

Ensure completion of mechanical maintenance jobs with the highest level of quality, safety and effectiveness at minimum cost to maximize equipment availability. Apply preventive and predictive maintenance practices, and contribute to their improvement.

What you'll be doing


Communicate clearly on information relating to potentially dangerous situations and get confirmation that they are correctly understood.
Make sure that key equipment is working properly.
Ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
Is responsible for the execution and the quality of maintenance work to be carried out on mechanical equipment according to planned work orders.
Responsible for knowledge transfer and developing team members for improve performance.
Ensure proper day-to-day scheduling of work and necessary resources. Assign and review work to perform with the craftsmen.
Ensure, upon completion of repairs, that equipment is in good operating condition, ready to meet operational requirements, fully inspected, tested, clean and safe.
Ensure and control the quality of maintenance jobs done by subcontractors.
Provide reporting on repair jobs including consumption of materials, specific tools, man-hours and skills, and fills equipment history files.
Ensure completion of major operations within schedule (yearly overhaul).
Contribute in his field, to the development of working methods and definition of procedures and ensure their implementation.
Keep him/herself informed of general plant practices to ensure "on-call" duty.
Contribute to Root Cause Analysis
Participate in the Plant Improvement Plan (PIP).

Requirements


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years' postgraduate experience in execution (Mechanical)
Proficiency in the use of maintenance tools like SAP etc
Excellent leadership and administrative skills
Good knowledge of reliability based maintenance practices.
Good problem solving skills through the root cause failure analysis.
Good knowledge of cement manufacturing processes.
Good knowledge of safety laws and regulations.
Good written and verbal communications skills
