Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs to minimize production downtime.
Maintain tea packing machines, conveyors, bucket elevators, motors, gears, pneumatic systems, and other plant equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Prepare maintenance reports and raise spare parts requisitions through the ERP system.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop and work area.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and plant performance.
Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a recognized technical trade certification.
2 - 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or continuous production environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
Basic computer skills, including MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems and CAD is an added advantage.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
