Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment in accordance with manufacturer and company specifications.
Carry out preventive, condition-based, and breakdown maintenance on all mechanical equipment.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational reliability.
Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions for mechanical faults.
Analyze data and equipment performance records to identify areas for improvement and optimize machine efficiency.
Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities, machine safety checks, and repair records.
Collaborate closely with controllers, engineers, and production teams to address mechanical issues and improve system performance.
Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during all maintenance and repair work.
Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
Qualifications
HND/BSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in FMCG.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical faults.
