The Media Communications Manager will execute cross‑category media strategies by leveraging consumer insights and data to build effective audience plans and optimize traditional and digital media buying for stronger brand affinity and business results. Lead market media communications and support Marketing and Category Managers to drive brand growth through Winning Actions and flawless BBNW execution. Activate media plans through global and local partnerships, retail collaborations, and technology solutions, while working closely with Brand Teams to deliver integrated digital marketing and communication plans aligned with brand priorities.


A day in the life of the Media Communications Manager:


Support consumer portraits and engagement funnels; ensure consumer‑centric planning across all media.
Lead brand/consumer online efforts using digital analytics to generate actionable insights.
Work with media buying and creative agencies to develop media communication and digital campaign strategies.
Provide consumer insights through qualitative and quantitative research.
Manage consumer and shopper activations, including sampling plans and reporting.
Oversee procurement processes, budgeting, and pitch advisory.
Identify and execute new activation and partnership opportunities.
Manage digital plans, agency coordination, campaign execution, and performance reporting.
Align annual digital plans with category priorities and eCommerce activation needs.
Drive first‑party data collection, amplify BTL via digital, and manage global digital partnerships.
Support integrated communication planning, media KPI development, and market media audits.
Contribute to media agency reviews and deliver media capability training.


What Will Make You Successful?


Bachelor's Degree or HND with a minimum of Second class or Upper credit (respectively) in any discipline.
Minimum 2 years' experience in Media agency management or equivalent position in FMCG. Experience in both planning and buying functions.
Strong grasp of digital marketing with solid experience managing social media campaigns.
Proven track record delivering innovative and effective traditional and digital marketing campaigns.
Proficient in web metrics and digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze, and interpret data.
Able to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple cross‑functional projects.
Basic understanding of consumer and market intelligence, competitive landscapes, and category trends.
Strong stakeholder management capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
