Job Summary
The Media Engagement & Artist Relations Officer is responsible for managing Green Indie's public image, promoting its artistes and music catalogue, driving audience growth across digital platforms, and strengthening relationships with media, industry stakeholders, brands, and fans. The role combines media relations, artist management, digital marketing, public relations, social media growth, and entertainment publicity to enhance the visibility, commercial success, and reputation of Green Indie and its artistes.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned artistes and ensure seamless communication between artistes and Green Indie.
Coordinate artistes' schedules, including studio sessions, rehearsals, performances, interviews, promotional activities, content creation, travel arrangements, and public appearances.
Support the professional growth and career development of artistes by identifying opportunities for collaborations, endorsements, licensing, publishing, sponsorships, and live performances.
Monitor artiste performance, image, branding, and public perception, ensuring alignment with Green Indie's vision and standards.
Liaise with producers, songwriters, stylists, photographers, videographers, managers, and other service providers to support artiste development.
Ensure artistes comply with contractual obligations, promotional commitments, and company policies.
Plan and execute marketing campaigns for singles, EPs, albums, music videos, and other creative projects.
Coordinate release schedules and promotional timelines with internal and external stakeholders.
Develop strategies to increase streaming performance, playlist placements, downloads, and audience engagement.
Promote Green Indie's music publishing catalogue and licensing opportunities to broadcasters, advertisers, film producers, and digital platforms.
Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements to maximise commercial success.
Secure positive media coverage for Green Indie, its artistes, music releases, publishing catalogue, and corporate initiatives.
Develop and implement innovative social media strategies to increase Green Indie's online presence and audience engagement.
Manage the company's social media accounts and support the management of artistes' digital platforms where required.
Prepare and execute monthly content calendars aligned with marketing objectives and music release schedules.
Coordinate the production of engaging digital content, including behind-the-scenes videos, interviews, teasers, live sessions, promotional campaigns, and short-form content.
Build and engage online communities by responding to comments, messages, and fan enquiries professionally.
Identify social media trends, viral opportunities, and influencer partnerships to expand Green Indie's reach.
Track analytics and optimise campaigns to improve follower growth, engagement, impressions, reach, watch time, and conversions.
Develop strategies to increase fan participation, pre-saves, user-generated content, and streaming activity during music campaigns.
Support negotiations relating to promotional collaborations and media partnerships.
Coordinate post-event publicity and media reporting.
Ensure promotional activities are delivered within approved timelines and budgets.
Track the performance of publicity campaigns and social media activities using analytics tools.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on media coverage, audience growth, streaming performance, digital engagement, and campaign outcomes.
Recommend strategies to improve publicity, audience growth, artist visibility, and brand awareness.
A successful Media Engagement & Artist Relations Officer will increase Green Indie's visibility, grow its digital audience, strengthen its relationships within the music and entertainment industry, successfully manage artiste engagements, execute impactful promotional campaigns, and contribute significantly to the commercial success of Green Indie, its artistes, and its music publishing catalogue.
