Medical Laboratory Technician at Solid Rock Hospital

Duties and Responsibilities


Perform phlebotomy on adults and children
Provide assistance in various functions of the laboratory
Maintain and update laboratory checklists regularly Provide assistance in various functions of the laboratory
Operate and manage automatic hematology and chemistry analyzers, thermometers, balances, and other lab apparatus.
Label, sort and record specimens and organize all information into the computer system
Proficiency in performing laboratory inventory.
Documentation
Use a Lab Information Management System for specimen tracking, results entry, and reporting.
Enhance laboratory services and laboratory reputation.


Requirements


Minimum qualification of Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from an accredited School of Health Technology.
Up-to-date registration / practicing license.
2 - 10 years work experience.
Computer literacy
Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
Caring, Compassionate, Dedicated and Professional
Ability to Work Under Pressure
Must reside within Ojodu Berger and its environs.
