Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Doctor to join our clinical team.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care by diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing medical emergencies, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of patients.
Prescribe medications and monitor patients' progress.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care.
Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of practice.
Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records.
Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices.
Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and on-call duties as scheduled.
Collaborate effectively with nurses, pharmacists, laboratory personnel, and other members of the healthcare team.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor of Medicine.
Current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
Completion of internship and NYSC
Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a reputable healthcare facility.
Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records is an added advantage.
