Requirements :
MBBCh (or equivalent). Registration with HPCSA as Medical Practitioner with Independent Practice at the time of starting employment. Current Advanced Life Support courses (ACLS; AMLS; ATLS/ITLS/EMATT).
Candidates with prior experience of at least 1 year in Family Medicine and Emergency Department. Candidates with relevant Diplomas (Dip PEC, Dip HIV Man.)

Duties :
Provision of care to adult patients with undifferentiated conditions in Polyclinic. Participate in commuted over-time in Emergency Department. Promote evidence-based patient care.
Clinical supervision and training of junior staff. Participate in departmental academic activities. Administrative duties pertinent to the practice of Family Medicine (including medico-legal documentation). Participate and assist in administrative duties to ensure effective running of Polyclinic. Commuted over-time is compulsory.
